Where will the race be held?
We are delighted to be working with Morey’s Piers again this year! We will be racing on the beach directly behind Morey’s. Please enter at Raging Waters ticketing area on Mariners Pier. Check out the schedule of events on the Wildwood 2024 page.
Is there handicap access?
Our team is committed to ensuring that everyone can come for the fun! Please email Michelle@theraceofgentlemen.com for advanced planning. Beach Wheelchairs will also be available with a deposit and ID.
Do you take credit cards?
At TROG, cash is king! No cards will be accepted at merch or ticketing but ATMs will be available.
The following items are ALLOWED AT THE RACE:
Baby Strollers
Binoculars
Cameras (basic point and shoot consumer-grade cameras) without detachable lenses and other accessories (monopods, selfie sticks, tripods, GoPro mounts, and other attachments are not allowed)
Chairs that do not obstruct view. If found to be obstructing traffic or view, you will be asked to remove.
Dogs IF they are well behaved and leashed. You will be required to sign a waiver/release and if the team deems your dog a nuisance or threat in any manner, you will be asked to remove the dog. This is non-negotiable.
The following items are PROHIBITED:
All bags are subject to search prior to and after admission. Large backpacks are not permitted.
Coolers of any kind. (Exceptions may be made for medical use)
Any and all professional audio recording equipment
Professional cameras and professional recording (photo, video, audio) equipment (NO large professional detachable zoom lenses, stands, monopods, tripods, attachment sticks (selfie sticks) or other commercial equipment.
Any and all professional video equipment. No video recording will be allowed except on cell phones.
Drones or any other remote flying device
Hammocks
Glass containers of any kind
Illegal and Illicit substances of any kind
Outside food or beverage (including alcohol) of any kind
Skateboards, scooters, bicycles, wagons, carts or any personal motorized vehicles
Tents, canopies, or shade structures of any kind
Unauthorized/unlicensed vendors are not allowed. No unauthorized solicitation and materials including handbills, flyers, stickers, beach balls, give-aways, samples, etc.
Weapons or explosives of any kind
Fireworks
Carts of any kind (including Red Wagons)
BAG POLICY:
ALL bags are subject to search prior to and after admission.
Car parking on the beach: There will be no car parking on the beach this year due to Public Works declaring that the sand is too soft.
